"For each one who begins to weep, somewhere else another stops"

Again, this quote is pertinent to the cyclical nature of emotions. It encompasses the notion of repetition as well. The fact that emotions are in a cycle means they repeat themselves, so in essence, the experience of emotions is a repeated cycle.

Repetition also paints itself as a significant aspect to the play as Estragon continuously asks if they can leave whilst Vladimir responds saying they can't because they're waiting for Godot day after day.

This repetition draws emphasis to Godot's character, who he really is, and why are they are really waiting for Godot.

A similar concept is explored in "What is Love" by Haddaway.

The artist says “what is love” with a rather passionate tone of voice. This is a recurring question throughout the entire song, as it is used 8 times. The use of repetition also exemplifies a rather confused state of emotion, as he is thoroughly unsure of what love truly is, and whether his significant other expresses those feelings towards him or not.

The use of repetition in What is Love shows love as a cycle that one must face, and shows that experiencing the lust for an intimate connection with another person is only achievable by repeatedly questioning the notion of love. Similarly, emotions are a quintessential aspect to the play, as they're portrayed as a repeated cycle that everyone must face in life. As well, reptition is used in a number of instances throughout the play, as in the song to instill thought-provoking questions and thoughts in the reader.
