"The tears of the world are at a constant quantity"

This quote speaks to the finite amount of sadness in the world. When Lucky is weeping, Pozzo says tears are at a "constant quantity" and are effectively simply shared across individuals to different extents at different times. This also speaks about the sudden change of emotions that characters face in the play, mainly Pozzo as he seems to be relatively unstable.

The song "It ends Tonight" by All American Rejects embodies a similar motif.

"When darkness turns to light
It ends tonight"

In this quote, darkness is a metaphor for the sadness that Pozzo speaks about. This quote in particular speaks to the end of "darkness" as it turns to "light" which is effectively a metaphor for exuberance and happiness. It also provides a time-frame: "tonight", saying that experiencing these emotions of sadness, pessimism effectively can come to end quickly, and those emotions can turn to joyfulness. Moreover, the fact that these emotions and thoughts are everchanging speaks to the abrupt and inconsistent nature of emotions, exemplifying the same theme of emotional instability that Pozzo and several other characters in the play (i.e. Vladimir and Estragon) experience. For example, Vladimir and Estragon constantly hint at the fact that they wish to kill themselves but don't, which evidently depicts their characters along with Pozzo as unstable.
